Equipping schools in Ghana with computers and setting up computer training centers is a successful project that we have been running for many years. This enables the schools to actually teach the prescribed IT lessons for the pupils on computers and gives the children their first basic experience of using computers, which they would otherwise only learn about in theory. In 2019, we were once again able to equip a school at our Takinta location with computers donated from Germany. They had come a long way from Dortmund. They traveled by ship to Accra and then 400 km by road to Takinta. They all arrived undamaged and the Computer Training Center was officially opened in October 2019.
