At first glance, the supply of fresh water seems to be taken for granted in a tropical country like Ghana. Unfortunately, this is not the case. There are no water pipes in the villages. Groundwater must therefore always be pumped locally. In the village of Takinta, which is very remote in the west of Ghana, the situation was particularly urgent. In May 2019, we were able to complete a new construction project there, giving the residents access to fresh drinking water. Many thanks to all donors and helpers!
